El Salvador is located in the center of the so-called intertropical line that divides the North and South of the American continent. This allows it to have a dry climate for half the year, but due to climate change and because it is a country full of mountain ranges, its soil has currently had successive problems due to hurricanes, tropical storms, earthquakes, and have caused mourning and destruction.
EMERGENCY HELP
Destruction occurs spontaneously, and families living in extreme poverty are always the most affected, and they always have to struggle to start over every time a natural phenomenon strikes.
All Samaritan Steps staff are on high alert during these events to help the most affected families.
During 2024 we were able to be part of the restoration by supporting with sheets, mattresses and food packages for the families that were severely affected in several municipalities of El Salvador, helping these families overcome this crisis and have food during the time they were able to work, all under the Grace of God.

For various reasons, for over 10 years, we have been supporting the most vulnerable families in our country with food, blankets, sheets, and mats so that they can get through the crisis.
