Prosthetics and medical brigades
The main project of Pasos Samaritanos is to help low-income people with special disabilities, such as amputation or the loss of some musculoskeletal function, with a custom-made prosthesis or a splint that replaces the lost limb. This project is funded by churches, friends, and foreign institutions that contribute to fulfilling the dreams of this segment of our society, who must move forward with life and the dreams that every human being should strive to achieve.
On many occasions, we have carried out medical brigades to support low-income communities in need of access to medical care and medication.
For various reasons, different types of amputations occur in society, and our institution has trained and professional staff who can manufacture all types of devices for beneficiaries who undergo a screening process to determine whether we can intervene and assist them in obtaining beneficiary status that will allow them to have their device manufactured. We humbly rely on professionally trained staff to care for our patients, and they manufacture all types of prostheses and splints tailored to each user. They comply with international standards.
Since our beginning as a Christian ministry until today, the population that does not have economic access is our main objective, THIS IS ACHIEVED THANKS TO YOUR DONATIONS.
MEDICAL BRIGADES
Whenever we go with a medical brigade to a community, we do so to be part of the solution that is presented in a community and to serve those families and people who often find it difficult to receive medical attention. The brigade's purpose is to bring how to facilitate aid to the most vulnerable population of our country.
